After what seems like a long wait, work is finally starting on the brand new 3G pitch.

Work is due to start on our base at Green Lane in the coming days. Our sign has been replaced with a construction notice, and site containers have been placed in the car park and Green Lane will be closed from 30th September.
While this has been a complicated and sometimes stressful time for the clubs committee trying to find locations for all 16 teams, we are nearly there.
The £1.7 million project, funded by various partners including Wiltshire FA, The FA, Devizes Town Council and the Football Foundation, aims to improve quality and access to football facilities in Wiltshire. Wiltshire FA are to move into the 2nd storey of the building once all works are completed, becoming their new Head Quarters.
As a club we are creating a good working relationship with Wiltshire FA, who will become our new landlords, identifying training & match requirements for all our teams.
Wiltshire FA have put out a press release where our Chairman Mikey Harford stated ‘Green Lane has been our home for a long time, and we are really excited about the creation of these state of the art facilities, it’s going to be an iconic facility for Devizes, and will help us be at the heart of the community moving forward’.
We will of course be posting updates with progress, information and anything else that we think you should know.
