In line with FA guidance we have updated our guidance in providing a safe football environment for everyone taking part and attending matches, league, or friendlies. These are to be followed for all fixtures home and away.
• Like all our training sessions, all children must have their own safe zone to store water bottles, personal items and medication if required.
• Parents must attend matches where children are not of senior school age ie Year 7 and above. Children Year 7 and above must have access to a mobile phone to communicate to parents if an injury were to occur. Treatment to children will only be in case of emergency, all other injury’s children will be asked to remain at their safe zone until the parents can assist. Year 6 and below children whose parents or support bubble relatives that are not in attendance will not take part in games and will remain sat at their own safe zone until this person returns or attends.
• Direct family or family support bubble members can only attend on matchdays. This is to reduce the amount of people wanting to attend matches to ensure that the numbers of supporters do not go above a safe level. Please do not invite extended family members to attend matches.
• Parents watching all games must not bunch together in groups of more than 6 people. A 2-metre distance must be kept between groups of 6 people.
• We are advising that all parents watch games that are on the 3G from outside of the fence. There are very limited numbers allowed on the 3G tarmac surface and during trial matches these were areas of concern, breaking the FA guidelines on numbers gathering.
• Games will be split into quarters to allow for hand sanitiser breaks and for the match balls to be disinfected.
• Times taking corners, free kicks and times where children are in close proximately of each other are to be limited where possible.
• Not to attend matches until the time advised by your coach. If arrive to early, please remain in your car until the time advised.
• Goalkeepers are to use disinfectant regularly on gloves and must not spit on their gloves.
• Non playing attendees must not handle the match ball. The ball must only be returned by foot.
• Lift share to matches is not permittable unless child is part of their own family support bubble.
Please adhere to this guidance so we can continue to provide football for all our children. This guidance will be regularly reviewed and modified by the club committee.
