Weather did not defuse the Eagles enthusiasm as they chased for their first win of the season, it started very well as the eagles struck first with a good build up and an equally good finish. Wootton Bassett took their time to adjust to the game but did manage to score a goal to bring the scores back level. They managed to get another goal to take the half time lead 2-1 to the home side, the next quarter of the game eagles created many chances but were unlucky not to score, this gave the opportunity for Wootton Bassett to score 3 successive goals to take the score to 5-1. Eagles then hit back with a stunning goal which involved individual skill, passing and finished off with a great strike, yet again eagles faced a team from a higher league in the cup but this did not phase them as a team as they put on another fantastic performance.
