We went into this game with much trepidation. We saw their 23 man squad and the quality of players and were genuinely worried.

As ever against a good team the key is to just play your own game and focus on our performance. And that we did with aplomb.

The hourglass took an early lead. Another poorly defended set piece with the player getting free of his marker and heading in.

We spent the majority of the game defending and giving it all. However, it wasn't all one way. We had plenty of breakthroughs and created some chances ourselves.

Second half was very similar, however, we definitely played our way in to the game and were much more creative. They had a lot of rotation which probably stifled their flow if anything. We even got lucky with a missed penalty, Christian deciding the keeper needed a rest from making saves and did his own :-D

Overall, an enjoayable game against a good group of lads. We went back to their place after for a beverage and they were great hosts.

Most importantly for us is how we really are starting to gel and it won't be long before the first W heads our way.
